Hey Wildcats.
I need to talk to you guys about grammar. I'm starting to realize that you guys are too ignorant to know life, because when you get a job, you will have to learn grammar and punctuation, which is however required to pass college and for people to understand your writing.
Please continue to read.
Here is an example of crappy grammar by Lilly121314:
"when feild trip???"
It didn't have a capital letter at the first word, it didn't have additional words to make it clearer, and 'feild' is spelled wrong. Here is what is correct:
"When is the field trip???"
One or more question marks and exclamation marks are acceptable.
Here is another terrible example of crappy grammar by emmac0123:
"oh ok then can i be a 8th grader"
This is even worse... As the first sentence, it didn't have a capital letter at the first word, this sentence did not have the same thing. It didn't have a comma. Plus, it's supposed to be AN not a. At the end of the sentence, there should be a question mark. Remember about the vowels, A E I O U. When there is a noun that begins with a vowel, always put AN before that word. Use of AN: "CoolWizzi0 ate an iPad." Use of A: "CoolWizzi0 hugged a phone."
Corrected:
"Oh okay, then can I be an 8th grader?"
Here is another thing that I see from many of our members of JDMS:
"Can I Be A Teacher?:
"Can Someone Go To JDMS?"
"Hi Coldplay How Are You?"
There is no purpose of capitalizing every word in a sentence unless it's a title!!!
This IS A TITLE:
"The Stories of Sir Cool Wizzi"
"The New iPhone 5"
"Gravity Falls"
So please use good grammar! It will help you pass writing tests. I guarantee it.
